Pilates is a body conditioning routine that may help build flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core or center, and improving coordination and balance. Pilates’ system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginning to advanced. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises.

Pilates improves muscle tone, balances musculature, supports correct posture, and teaches to move with ease and grace. There are an increasing number of studies which are showing the benefits of Pilates in the rehab population.It is useful for improving balance, lumbar stabilization and flexibility, lower back pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

One on One Equipment Classes

I started Dancing when I was 7 years old. Ballet, Spanish, Tap, Jazz, Greek, Hip Hop, Latin American and Ballroom Dance. I have a Teachers Diploma in Cecchetti Ballet and Hip Hop.

I have been teaching Pilates for the past 16 years in Benoni. When I started teaching, I mostly did Group Mat Classes. Now I prefer to do Private One on One Equipment Classes as I feel clients are more able to relax and learn about their bodies and able to grasp the work better.

Pilates will improve your Strength, Posture, Bone Density and Joints, and of course overall muscle strength and flexibility.

R235 per session on a month to month Contract.

R220 per session on a 6 month Contract, or R210 per session if paid in full at start of contract.

R210 per session on a 12 month contract, or R200 per session if paid in full at start of contract.

Fees are paid Monthly for 4 or 8 session per month.
